tasting of our wines
Welcoming you and sharing our vineyard and savoir-faire is integral to the spirit of Château Lamothe de Haux.
With 8 km of limestone quarries carved beneath the property in the 17th century, our family has repurposed these vestiges as maturation cellars, giving our wines ideal conditions for aging and storage. We welcome you every day of the week, by reservation, for a tour of our troglodyte cellars followed by a tasting of our wines and cocktails.
Open Days
Each year, we take part in the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux Open Days on the first weekend of June. On this occasion, in addition to tours and tastings, the estate hosts a makers’ market, food trucks for lunch in the park, and original activities such as an escape game. It’s a wonderful way to experience Lamothe differently, with family or friends.
And to extend the experience, you can also stay on site in our countryside cottage, open from March to December.
Accommodating up to 13 people, it offers a peaceful, welcoming setting—ideal for fully enjoying the charm of the vineyard and the region.
